I was overwhelmed by the people and the vendors. There so many employers that all seemed so interesting. I wanted to talk to everyone but I would have to be there until the next day. My number one tip when navigating these career fairs is to map out and circle all the employers you want to speak to. Then, start on one end and work your way around each lane talking to employers. Don’t limit yourself only to the people you circled. If you come across someone who’s enthusiastic, don’t be intimidated. See where the conversation goes. Who knows, this place may be more than you think. If there is anything I can say to a newbie, is to be confident and explore your options.
